About me

When I joined Prominent in February of 2020, I was new to the UI/UX realm but a veteran of design. I have over 20 years of graphic design experience in various industries, including working with utilities, cooperatives, advertising agencies, and teaching within educational institutions. I also have previous experience as a department supervisor in a clinical laboratory as a medical technologist.

Superpower

My superpower is my insatiable curiosity. I was the kid who always asked, "Why?" I’m a firm believer that there is always something new you can learn. In fact, I don't mind the wait in waiting rooms as long as they have things to read — it’s a great opportunity to explore and learn something new.

Expertise

I excel in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and I'm quickly learning Adobe XD, business analysis, and the interactive world.

I'm also the current champion of the fantasy football league I'm in.

Hobbies

I enjoy sewing, crafting, decorating, reading, occasional workouts, and watching sports, especially football. I'm also a novice skier and love to ski with my family.

Fun Fact

I am a proud member of the Turtle Mt. Chippewa Tribe from Belcourt, ND.
